Blue Ridge Area Foundation is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead the organization to a higher level of strength and capacity. The ideal candidate will possess Master’s degree in public administration, social work, or related field; minimum of five years’ experience in executive leadership; and track record of effectively leading an outcomes-based organization and staff.
The Director's background must include budgeting/fiscal management of comparable organization; staff supervision and development; extensive knowledge of industry regulations and best practices; strong skills in volunteer/governance board relations. Experience with developing and executing strategies that have taken an organization to the next stage of growth, transition management, advocacy/public relations, and fundraising experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures is preferred.

Group Home Habilitation Technician/Direct Care Provider
Applications are being accepted for Group Home Habilitation Technician/Direct Care Provider for residential locations.
Technician is responsible for daily care and training to increase independence in all areas of life. Patient disposition, strong work ethic, and ability to work well in team environment required. No prior experience required. All needed training is provided. Some of the areas of training include CPR & First Aid, North Carolina Interventions (NCI), Defensive Driving, hygiene, sign language, and documentation. Applications will be screened and interviews scheduled as positions become available.
